Is anxiety preventing you from living the life you want?

Would you like to:

  • Feel more hopeful, energetic, and motivated?

  • Finally be able to relax and enjoy the good things in your life?

  • Be more confident in your own ability to handle whatever life throws your way?

You don’t have to keep struggling on your own.

Research has found Cognative-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to be an effective treatment for anxiety.
I have over a decade of experience using a CBT technique called Exposure/Response Prevention (E/RP) – the gold standard in OCD treatment – to help people find relief from OCD and other anxiety disorders.

OCD and related disorders are complex and sometimes complicated to treat. It helps to have an expert with years of experience who keeps up with the latest developments in the field.

Finding a therapist who is the right fit is important to success in therapy.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help us figure out if I might be a good fit for you and the issues you are struggling with.

When you call, I will ask about why you are currently interested in psychotherapy. I will be honest and let you know whether your concerns sound like ones that I have expertise in working with, and if so, I’ll give you an idea of how we might proceed if we work together.

If I don’t think that I have the right experience and training to meet your needs, I will try to help you identify other professionals who may be able to help you.

Clients often say they feel much more hopeful after just that first consultation.

Give me a call at (301) 836-1345.

Do you worry all the time? Do you feel overwhelmed by stress, or

fear situations like flying, driving, social situations, being alone, or crowded spaces?

Do you or some you love suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)? Do you spend excessive time repeating activities or thoughts?

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been found to be the most effective psychological treatment for anxiety-related problems -- including OCD, panic, phobias, generalized anxiety, and social anxiety.
